Sneak Peek: Trevor and Jackie Engagement

First things first... Trevor and Jackie are an AMAZING couple! I have gotten to know them over the past month or so and my gosh their love for each other is undeniable! I'm pretty sure Trevor would bend over backwards for Jackie; and when Jackie smiles at Trevor I'm almost certain fireworks go off! I first met Trevor as we planned his proposal to Jackie, then about a week later I was a secret photographer and photographed Trevor proposing (and that's when I met Jackie). NOTE: Be sure to check out their proposal photographs if you haven't seen them yet (we also got the entire thing on video so be sure to check that out also)! Being able to capture such a special time in their life, I feel so blessed to now call them friends... So when they asked me to not only be a part of their proposal but also their engagement I was more than excited! Now, without going on too long, let's get to some of their wonderful engagement photographs!

Trevor is a baseball player (and student) and Jackie is a nursing student. They are both originally from San Diego, California but now are enjoying the Spokane area! Jackie said she isn't the "outdoorsy" type but really wanted her engagement photographs to capture the beauty of the outdoors.

This photograph captures the joy between Trevor and Jackie so beautifully!

As I was going through all of the photographs from their engagement session I saw this one and knew it was going to be fabulous... then I made it black and white and wow! By the way, did you notice Jackie's eyelashes... they are absolutely beautiful!

Trevor picked out the perfect ring for Jackie! I had to make sure to do such a beautiful ring justice and I think this photograph does just that!

She claims to not be able to do a soft and serious face... but in all honesty I think she does it wonderfully!

How is it that Trevor and Jackie can even make walking look so great? What a cute couple!

So if you watched Trevor and Jackie's proposal video you may have noticed she is a fan of touching noses, which is why I love this photo; it shows who they are as a couple!

Cute and casual... and the beautiful outdoors!

I'll be honest... A cute shot of the backsides is always fun... hands in each other's pockets, it's too cute!

I'm always up for a wonderful photo on a bridge and this is not exception! I love the way the bridge frames in Jackie and Trevor!

Romance and beauty! Anyone who thinks once the leaves are fallen and the trees are bare is not good for photographs is out of their mind! I love all the textures and branches and sharing a kiss along the river makes this photograph picture perfect!

The sun came out and gave us this warm dreamy lighting that I am just about drooling over!

Happy and engaged!

As I took this photograph I told Trevor and Jackie to be passionate but not to kiss... it was actually a lot harder than they thought and led to quite a few laughs also... but in the end we got the shot!

If you follow the Distinction Studio blog at all you know I'm a sucker for a foot-pop! Jackie did not disappoint!

Saving a quite moment between the happy couple as the last photo of their engagement sneak peek! My advice to them as they plan their wedding... take quite moments together to enjoy being engaged... remember your wedding is one day (of course you want it perfect) but you have the rest of your lives together so take time to enjoy the little moments!
