Distinction Studio Update: September 2019!
Hello Distinction Studio Family!
I am soooo honored that you are on this journey with me! I absolutely love what I do and I couldn't do it without all of you! Seriously though, THE DISTINCTION STUDIO FAMILY IS THE BEST!!! It's been a LONG time coming... BUT SUPER EXCITING things are happening around here! WAHOO!!!
First off... I am going to be doing monthly-ish updates that will come in the form of a blog post (yep right here on the blog!). What this means is that I will be sharing major updates and information here on the blog as a sort of "newsletter" type thing. It also means I will be doing away with individual photo session sneak peeks here on the blog (this is because honestly they take me FOREVER to choose the photos, create the sneak peek, type it up, do it, post it, and share it). There will still be some individual photo sessions shared and highlighted in the form of a blog post but it will be much less. I know that may seem like a bummer but actually it means you will be getting MORE images shared on social media sites which should be pretty exciting! Then you'll just jump on over to the website to view the monthly-ish updates and find out all the cool stuff going on! The monthly updates will include and highlight some of the previous months photo sessions but only with a handful of images. Anyway, it is going to be pretty wonderful and I'm excited to see how this all goes!
Second thing... FALL and CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS still have spots available... here are the details...
When: Fall- Saturday, September 21st in the AM Christmas- Saturday, November 23rd in the AM
Price: $175 plus tax for one OR book both and pay $325
Location: Distinction Studio’s Private Outdoor Location in Colbert (just North of Spokane)
Details: Up to 5 people, session is 15-20 minutes long and you will get photos from the session with the print release! (10+ images)
(payment due at the time of booking)
There are a very limited number of spaces available for mini sessions, space will fill up quickly!

Third... I will be sharing a little bit about myself and my family in each of these monthly updates... so for this month I want to just start off with the basics of my family. Hi, I'm Rachel! Photographer and owner of Distinction Studio! I love Jesus with all my heart! I am the wife to my amazing husband, Tyler. We met in college at Washington State University! Go Cougs! We have been married for 8 years and have 3 amazing kiddos (Carter who is 4.5 years old, Lucas who is 2.5 years old, and Jocelyn who is 10 months old) (plus or pup, Tilly Dog). We have beautiful property in Colbert, just North of Spokane. As a family we love working on projects, remodeling, building and creating things, and honestly just having fun together outside! We like to work hard and play hard! I love to chat and get to know people which is part of why I truly love being a photographer! I get to know each of the people and families I photograph!

High School Senior Ana had some wonderful Senior Photos taken! She is such a sweetheart!
The Love Family welcomed their handsome little boy into the world! Conner Love was a complete dream baby in the studio for his newborn photo session! I can't wait to watch him grow and come back for milestone sessions!
Happy First Birthday to Bodhi! He got some photographs taken to celebrate ONE YEAR OLD!!! Happy Birthday big boy!
Bodhi also had some BIG news to share with everyone... BIG BRO!!! He isn't going to be the baby anymore! What a great announcement photo! Congratulations to the Haugen Family, I can't wait to meet your newest addition in February 2020!
Brooke is expecting a little girl in September and we captured some maternity photographs to remember this special time! I am so excited to meet her baby later this month!
