Snowy winter photo sessions are seriously THE BEST! I'm not going to lie, I was thrilled when I woke up to a fresh blanket of snow and knew I had a photo session coming! Amy and her family got lucky with a picture perfect, winter wonderland on the day of their photo session at the Distinction Studio private outdoor location! Welcome Amy, Matt, and Molly (and their pup Addy) to the Distinction Studio Family! It was so much fun capturing photographs together! As you can tell we laughed, played, and had a great time (even if it was a little cold out!). Here is just a small sneak peek from their photo session to enjoy!

Starting off the post with a smiley photo! (Yes... doesn't everyone have furniture outside in the snow *winks*)

Some sibling love! Matt and Molly were not afraid to have a little snowball fight in the middle of taking photos... snagged this image after a few snowballs had been thrown!

Every once and a while as I am photographing, I notice a special bond in a family... Amy had that with both her children. Watching them all together and seeing their joy was so wonderful!

Matt was standing next to me and I whispered to him to throw some snow above his sister and mom... I love how the photo turned out!

Photo sessions should be fun and full of laughter!

This photograph was a recreation of a photo from when Matt and Molly were little kids... SO STINKING ADORABLE!!! (I sure hope it lives up to the photo from years and years ago!)

You can't go wrong with smiles and hugs!

Playing with their pup, Addy! This little four-legged-family member was all about running and playing in the snow... so when life gives you snow... play and have fun just like a puppy!

This black and white photo melts my heart... Amy's kids on each side of her and great smiles from everyone... this is a "hang on the wall and have around for years" kind of a photo! PERFECTION!

I often say taking photos should be fun! I mean if being covered in snow and big smiles means anything; I'd say Amy, Matt, and Molly had a great time!

Ending the post with a personal favorite... I love the faces of everyone and throwing snow in the air just works! It was such a blast photographing this crew; They are wonderful!

To Amy and Family... Welcome to the Distinction Studio Family! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture photographs and memories for you! I loved getting to know you all, laugh with each other, and create lasting photos you will treasure! I hope this is the first of many more photo sessions! Happy New Year! Cheers!!!
