So I've had a hard time figuring out exactly what to say and how to say it. I wouldn't consider myself very eloquent with words and I tend to ramble on about things and repeat myself a fair amount... But I'm going to try and do my best...

In 2015 Teresa and Ryan joined the Distinction Studio Family! Teresa and her husband Ryan had engagement photos (click this link to see engagement photos) with Distinction Studio and then their wedding photographs (click this link to see wedding photos) with Distinction Studio! Over the past two years I have gotten to know this great couple... they really became friends and I have truly enjoyed getting to know them. A few weeks ago I found out Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer. It brought tears to my eyes; this wonderful, strong, young women of just 24 years and married less than a year, had her whole life turned upside down in just a matter of moments when she got a biopsy test back that confirmed, she did indeed have breast cancer.

Teresa has a heart of gold and I know she has the strength to kick this cancer in the butt, but having this diagnosis means she has a long road ahead of her. She will have numerous weeks of chemotherapy, then a surgery, and later radiation treatments for multiple weeks. Knowing this and knowing she would be loosing her hair soon, Teresa contacted me to do a photo session before she looses her hair. We got her right in for photos and captured some wonderful images. To Teresa… You girl, have the strength to fight the fight. You have joy that will help when things get tough. You are beautiful inside and out; with or without hair. You have a sweet zest for life that will give you the courage to keep fighting. You are a women who can laugh in the midst of hardship. You are strong. You are bold. You can do this!
