Welcome the newest and smallest addition to the Distinction Studio Family... Chloe Grace!!! I had the honor of visiting Chloe and her family at the hospital just 7 hours after she was born! This little sweetheart is about the most lovable and adorable newborn around; I think it is safe to say that Miss Chloe Grace has melted my heart! Congratulations to Jordan, Amanda and the entire family... She is perfect!!! I am so excited to share a bunch of the photographs we captured during her "Fresh 48" session! Enjoy!
It's not a complete hospital session without at least one photo in the hospital's newborn bassinet! Miss Chloe Grace was born on November 11, 2017 at 3:17am! What a bundle of joy!!!
Those moments with Dad and Mom! Being a parent myself... I recall those moments of just looking at your newborn with so much joy and amazement. I'm so honored that Jordan and Amanda chose me to capture moments like that for them!
Chloe Grace will be well loved and protected as she is joining a whole crew of boys! I am so glad her big brothers were around while I was visiting and photographing... I'd say everyone is excited to welcome a girl into the family!!!
This is hands down one of my favorites... I love big (little) brother Asher peeking over to see his little sister... that hand on the side of the bassinet... those wide eyes trying to see her... Oh my gosh I just love it!!!
Grandpa is here to help! Asher was so cute wanting to touch and see his little sister (that emoji with the heart eyes... please insert that here!).
Aiden is a natural at giving snuggles to a little sister!
I was watching Aiden as he was looking at his little sister... he softly put his hand on her and just let it rest there a moment... I snapped a quick photo and I'm glad I did... This photo shows the tender heart of a big brother who is going to love and watch over his little sister!
Over the years I have developed a friendship with Amanda... it was years ago that I photographed her and Jordan's Engagement and Wedding... I love sharing in these life moments with such an amazing family! Amanda rocked being a "boy-mom" but I'm so happy for her that she gets to add some pink and glitter into the picture!
Those faces... Enough said!
It's crazy to me how as a parent you wait 9(ish) months to meet your newborn baby... not knowing what they will look like, what their personality will be, or really anything about them... but regardless of how little we know there is an instant connection with them and an unconditional love.
A dad and his daughter! I'm sure these two are going to make a fabulous team!
They say a father holds his daughters hand for a short while but holds her heart forever... I love photos of Dad's holding their newborn daughter!
As Jordan was holding little Chloe, Asher wanted to share a little of his bottle with her... it was so stinking cute of him to share with her (sorry Asher but not just yet!)
Baby girl! Congratulations Jordan... you have such a sweetheart already! Just look at Chloe already looking into her Daddy's eyes!
There can never be too many photographs... never too many newborn snuggles... and never too much love!
It's all in the details!
Daddy's hands and Chloe's feet! They are small now, but they grow quickly! Cherish those little toes for as long as possible!
Mommy has those tiny hands to hold!
We got both Dad and Mom's hands in this and Chloe's adorable little face... it was so sweet I had to share!
Another one of my favorites!
I'll be honest... I think I had to work to get a crying photograph... but every newborn session needs at least one crying photo right?!?! Chloe was such a content and happy little girl while I was visiting and photographing! To be honest, I was joking with Amanda and Jordan saying they must have been training her to love photos before she was even born! Even when she cries she looks cute!!!
And then some personality comes out! That is the look any parent will love!
Chloe is a whole lot of wonderful and a ton of perfection wrapped up into a small little girl! I can't wait to watch and photograph her as she grows!
Amanda is such a good Mommy already... It's a beautiful thing seeing her loving on her daughter!
I said Amanda and I have become friends (and it's true)... I was texting her in the weeks and days before Chloe's arrival and I know how hard those last few weeks and days can be. Amanda, your little blessing has arrived and now you get all the snuggles and cuddles!
Congratulations to Jordan and Amanda!
While we didn't have a "studio" to take photographs in, it doesn't mean we couldn't snag a few photographs that are less hospital like and more "studio" like... Little Chloe Grace in all her beauty!
Ending the post with a personal favorite... I'm pretty sure I'll have to add this image to my website gallery or something because it doesn't get more perfect that a beautiful little newborn sleeping! Oh my goodness... I have the best job in the entire world!!! Thank you to Amanda and Jordan for always trusting me to capture moments and memories for you and your family! Welcome Chloe Grace!
