Sneak Peek: Siblings Julia and Carter!

One of the best parts of my job is that I can take photos almost anywhere which means I can do my job almost anywhere... even when I'm in my hometown of Sammamish, WA! I had the honor of photographing these two siblings and their furry friend while I was over on the "west-side" of Washington visiting my family. This photo session was especially wonderful because these two kiddos hold a VERY special place in my heart... I used to nanny/babysit them when they were just little! It was AWESOME being able to see them again and capture some wonderful photographs of them together! Julia and Carter are two of the most wonderful kids and I can't wait to share their photos... ENJOY!

Starting off the post with a smiley photo! :-)

Of course we got some photos of each of them individually!

I'm not sure why, but this photo is one of my favorites... I think it is because little brother is looking up at his big sister... and those smiles are priceless!

Getting some personality shots here... Doesn't the saying go little girls are sugar and spice and everything nice and then little boys are snips and snails... Yes, these two sure had some personality to share!

You might notice how Julia and Carter are both laughing pretty good in this photo... please notice the duck off to the right in the background... Moments before snapping this photo we had duck booty (bottoms up for the duck) showing and apparently that was pretty funny because I got some really natural smiles!

Not much to say other than... Carter and Julia are cute kids!

Photo sessions can be fun! This just screams siblings to me... goofy, fun, and silly!

Julia had her diva moment here... hands in her hair like she just doesn't care!

I've got a number of favorite photos from Julia and Carter's sibling photo session... and here are two more of my favorites... I can't get enough of these two! Hopefully I can photograph them again sometime soon because we had a blast!!!

Because sometimes we all need a little peace!

So I know I'm sharing a TON of photos but it's so hard to pick and choose which photos to share when they are all wonderful! Sibling sessions are the best!!!

Watch out Mom and Dad... This girl has a little bit of sassy in her! Julia... you are adorable!

When all else fails... just make sure to look good... these two didn't have a problem rocking photos!

This boy is all boy! Making faces and having fun! Carter... you make me laugh!

We've got smiles and jumping... what more could you ask for in a photo session with brother and sister?!?!...

When I said what more could you ask for I didn't mean "mom-photo-bombs"... but this photo was too funny not to share... Mom ended up sneaking into a photo with them!

Cuteness! I think years down the road this photo will hold a special place for these two... it's a classic!

Kisses from big sister! That grin from Carter is enough to make anyone's heart melt! (I think Julia thought I was crazy when I told her to give her baby brother a kiss on the cheek!)

Four-legged-furry-friends deserve to be in a few photos! Boomer sure rocked being a doggy model!

It's those smiles! It may have been a bit chilly during photos but you would never know it from their outfits and great attitude!

So I mentioned how I used to babysit Julia and Carter. Well When Carter was just a little toddler I always called him Carter Bear... In my head he is still Carter Bear, but when I look at these photos, he isn't a little toddler anymore! What a stud!!!

And dang... Julia was hardly even in school when I used to watch her... This young lady is beautiful and growing up so fast! It was so great being able to see her again and capture some wonderful photos!

So as always... I'm going to end the blog post with a personal favorite from the day! This photo just screams sibling fun to me! I can't get over how much these two have gown into such awesome kids! Photographing them was absolutely a blast and I can't wait till next time!

To Julia, Carter, and the Pugh Family... Let's not go so long without seeing each other next time! It was so so so fun being able to create beautiful photographs together! I'm thinking we could make this an annual event :-) hmm?!?! Just a thought! Anyway, I hope you enjoy you photographs! Always the best to you and your family! Cheers!!!
