Sneak Peek: Dan and Kellie Engagement!

I am very excited to share Dan and Kellie's Sneak Peek Blog Post from their Engagement Session! These two never mentioned they were models... Just kidding with you... they aren't models! Although I think after photographing them, they could have a future! Their constant smiles and easy going personalities made photographing them an absolute blast! I can't wait till their wedding later this year when I get to photograph them all over again on their most special day! Enough about the wedding though because these two have SERIOUSLY one of the BEST proposal/engagement stories I've heard... stay tuned later in this post to read all about it! Without rambling too much just yet, let's get to the fun part... PHOTOS! Enjoy!

As always, starting off the post with a wonderful smiley photograph of the happy couple! Aren't they just awesome together!?!?!

These two were defiantly not afraid to trop through feet of snow for photos! I think they spent most of time laughing at me because I had to keep emptying out my boots! No joke... I was dumping snow out of my boots; and I still can't figure out how Dan and Kellie managed to stay dry and snow free!?!?! Can someone please explain this to me!

It may have been cold out, but these two sure know how to turn up the heat and show off for photos! We've got lifts and smiles and kisses... What more could you ask for!?!

Walking hand in hand together never looked so good!

Ok... so this is the part where I get to share all about their AWESOME proposal/engagement story! (Hopefully I do it justice because as Dan and Kellie told me the story I was very impressed... hopefully by the end of hearing their story you will be too!) Dan and Kellie are HUGE Seattle Sounders Fans... They live in the Spokane area but are season ticket holders for the Seattle Sounders and try to make it to as many home games as possible each year!...

Being such HUGE fans and always enjoying going to games together, Dan decided to contact the Sounders office and discuss the possibility of proposing to Kellie on the Sounders field. His brilliant idea was denied multiple times and he was told no by numerous people. (So sad!)... Dan didn't like being told no... so long story short, basically he bothered the right person long enough till they finally decided to go along with his idea! (Now stop right here... just that alone shows how much Dan wants to marry Kellie... I was already impressed at this point in the story but wait it gets better!) Dan and one of the Seattle Sounders personnel came up with a brilliant idea... Kellie received a call a few days before one of the games saying that a select few season ticket holders were being offered to tour the stadium and get a behind the scenes look before a game and asked if Kellie was interested. Kellie of course was all over the idea and said yes! So...

Game day arrived; Dan and Kellie got to the stadium early for their "behind the scenes tour"... Kellie was so excited and this whole time Dan was gearing up to ask the biggest question! When it came time for them to step onto the soccer field, they walked around and approached the middle of the field. Then right in the middle of the field, Dan popped the question... "Will You Marry Me?"... Kellie had no idea and was completely shocked. She said yes of course! Well, the rest is history! (Ok seriously... don't proposals like this happen in movies?!?!) Who knew things like this happened in "real life"... Massive kudos to Dan! (Oh and side note... the Sounders don't really give behind the scenes tours to season ticket holders... the whole thing was made up so Kellie wouldn't know what was going on... DANG! I'm impressed!) I'm a romantic at heart and when I heard this story I couldn't stop telling Dan how impressed I was with the whole thing! So I'm going to end the story with a Congratulations and GO Sounders!

Ending this sneak peek with a personal favorite! Dan and Kellie are just adorable together! So much love and happiness!

To Dan and Kellie... Congratulations on your engagement! What a fabulous proposal/engagement story... I loved getting to hear all about it and I hope I was able to re-tell it up to your standards and give it the justice it deserves! It was so great to capture the love and joy you share together and I can honestly say that walking through the snow and having my boots filled with clumps of snow has never been so much fun! I can't wait till your wedding later this year when we get to create beautiful and wonderful photographs together again!
