Sneak Peek: Victor and Karli Wedding (Part 1- Getting Ready and First Look)

I had the honor of photographing Victor and Karli's engagement (to see some of their fabulous engagement photos... please visit the following link). But this isn't about their engagement anymore because they are married!!! So, I've got to give you a little back story on Victor and Karli (if you read their engagement blog post some of this will be repetitive but please stick with me). My husband and I went to college with Victor and have been friends with him since about 2008. After college when Victor started dating Karli, I think it was hardly even 2 months of them dating that I started bugging Victor about proposing to Karli (I just knew these two were meant to be together!). When they finally (I only say finally because I like to give Victor a hard time) got engaged I was over the moon excited because Karli had become one of my best friends. Photographing two of my closest friends wedding was absolutely a blast and I am so honored they had me as a part of their wedding day! Without rambling on too much more... I figure we should probably get to sharing some of the photographs... and you might have noticed in the title of this post... this is part one... more photographs will follow in the days to come so be sure to check back because this is just the start (which will include the getting ready and first look).

Being that I'm a girl... I'm always a big fan of the dress photographs! Karli's beautiful lace dress was fit for a queen!

Ok... so I have to pause for a moment and tell a cute little story. When I arrive in the guys room for getting ready photos Victor was so cute... he asked "How is Karli?"... "Is she nervous?"... "What's Karli acting like?" and all I said was she looking beautiful and you'll have to wait until you see her in just a little bit! Now that is a guy who cares about his "almost" wife! Too cute!
